What is REMS technology?

Radiofrequency Echographic Multi Spectrometry (REMS) is a newer method of monitoring bone health. These scans provide information about bone density and bone quality to better predict risk of fracture.

By using sound rather than radiation, this technology is safer to use more often, allowing you to monitor the effectiveness of treatments, exercise, and diet. REMS equipment is easier to use and less subject to changing results if performed by a different technician or on a different machine.

Bone health is critical for extended quality of life. Check out the articles in our Journal to learn more or reach out to our team.

Bone Density Matters

Peak bone density is reached around age 30. After that, bones naturally weaken over time. Small changes now can have a big impact later.
